It is with mixed emotions that we announce the retirement of Gus Sullivan, one of Rail Planning Services’ founding directors.
Gus has been a large part of the driving force within Rail Planning Services for the last 15 years. He has been instrumental in growing the business, particularly our Constructability Team which is known for its professionalism, expertise and ability to get even the most complicated of jobs done. Gus’ leadership has been characterised by an unwavering commitment to our staff, clients and partners, tackling technological and logistical challenges to create positive outcomes on hundreds of projects.
Those who have had the pleasure of working with Gus over the years will know that he approaches life and work with a big heart, friendly disposition and a great sense of humour, which we will miss terribly.
We will be adapting to this change, as the business always has, with our vision for the future strong, utilising our depth of quality staff and drawing on our flexible nature. To ensure a successful transition, Rob O’Hanlon and Sarah-Ann Brennan, who have worked with Gus for many years, have taken up the mantle as co-leads of our Constructability Team. They will continue to lead the team to provide the high level of service that our clients have come to expect.
Please join us in extending our heartfelt thanks to Gus for his immeasurable contributions to Rail Planning Services and the broader rail community.
We wish Gus all the best in his well-deserved retirement (although we hope to see him back some day).
