Our evolution into a multi-disciplinary professional services consultancy continues with the appointment of a new Chair and CEO.  Glenn Bentley will transition from CEO to Chair from 1 July 2025, with Peter Whelan appointed to the role of CEO.

Glenn is a legend of our industry. He has led our business for the last five years with the utmost class, intellect and integrity, setting us up for the opportunities the future now offers.  Glenn recently decided that he wanted to spend less time focusing on work, and more time travelling and enjoying time with his growing extended family. We are thrilled that he was willing to take up the Chair role and that Ingenium will continue to benefit from his involvement and contribution.

We recruited Pete in mid-2024, to provide momentum for Ingenium’s efforts to expand beyond the rail sector.  Pete has worked with the Ingenium leadership team, as a colleague and consultant, for more than 15 years. He understands the values, vision and character of our organisation, and we’re excited to welcome him as our new CEO.

Following an accomplished initial career in government, Pete has spent the past decade in leadership roles in both smaller and global consulting businesses. Pete has been a trusted advisor to CEOs and boards, guiding those organisations’ growth and success, all of which arms him with the skillset required to take Ingenium into our next chapter.
