Last week’s High Speed Rail Conference was well attended and featured insightful presentations, including the keynote address delivered by Tim Parker, CEO High Speed Rail Authority (Australia).

Other presentations focused on the international High Speed Rail experience, and potential long-term benefits of High Speed Rail with regard to enhancing settlement and living options for future Australian generations.

The well-established link between transport and land use was reinforced through compelling evidence from Japan’s journey since 1964, showcasing the evolution of communities along its High Speed Rail corridor.

With the business case currently under review, the conference placed strong emphasis on Australia’s potential to leverage land value capture in the rollout of this world-class system.

Ingenium is enthusiastic about the opportunity to support the High Speed Rail Authority (Australia) and contribute meaningfully to this transformative transport initiative.
