Thornton Central is a residential development on the north side of Penrith Railway Station that has revolutionised a historically underutilised and disconnected section of the emerging city.

The developers had successfully delivered the first three stages of the development, when planning approval was granted for the construction of the fourth and final stage – featuring a park, public services, retail and more apartments.

In October 2025, the final stage of Thornton Central was granted planning approval. Ingenium was engaged to manage media coverage for the project during a critical period for the developers.

• briefing project representatives for media engagement
• targeted media engagement and preparing bespoke pitches.
